Girls Planet 999 is getting more intense!
The South Korean girl group competition survival series, which airs new episodes weekly on Mnet, will debut a new 9-member girl group consisting of members from China, Japan, and South Korea.
On Friday (October 1), the contestants who survived last week’s elimination reorganized teams for the upcoming Creation Mission, where they will perform brand new songs “U+Me=LOVE,” “Snake,” “Shoot!” and “Utopia.”
Before the mission, the show revealed the interim Top 18 rankings for the remaining contestants.
Viewers from around the world, referred to as Planet Guardians, can vote for their favorite cells and individual members by using the UNIVERSE app.
The third voting period is taking place from September 24 to October 9. Voters can only vote for one contestant from each group, and eliminations will be based on individual votes, regardless of group. Of the 27 remaining contestants, only 17 girls will move through to the next round, and one extra girl will get through with the Planet Pass.
